IF WE DON’T USE IT, WE LOSE IT! Exercise Your Freedom To Speak!

How many of us, when driving cross country, come across a set of 3 crosses lifted high upon a hill and feel comforted, quieted and awed?

This free expression, this sweet comfort, the very basis of our freedom is quickly being brought to extinction in America. The land of the free and the home of the brave has lost her fortitude, her sense of decent expression and is quickly losing her liberty through activist judges offering our Constitution "ministerial justice" from the bench.

Robert Knight in his article in Townhall titled "Uprooting Crosses, One By One" examples our extinction in the form of crosses to depict a statement. May every God fearing US Citizen place a set of 3 upon their hill!

He writes:

"While the furor over the proposed mosque at Ground Zero has New York Gov. David Paterson offering public land as a peace offering, a more familiar symbol - the cross - is systematically being uprooted around the country.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit ruled Aug. 18 that placing crosses where Utah state troopers died violates the Establishment Clause.
The 14 crosses, 12 feet tall and bearing a trooper's name, have been erected by the privately funded Utah Highway Patrol Association since 1968. Robert Kirby, a Salt Lake Tribune columnist and former cop, initiated it. He told Newsweek, "We wanted something instantly recognizable at 75 miles per hour, something that would say, 'This is hallowed ground.' "
Not to a mirror-worshipping group, which sued in 2005. It lost in U.S. district court, which ruled in American Atheists Inc. v. Duncan that the cross is a symbol of "death and burial." The atheists appealed and persuaded the 10th Circuit to reverse. But a further appeal to the Supreme Court would bode well, given that swing vote Justice Anthony Kennedy, in Salazar v. Buono (2009) wrote:
"The goal of avoiding governmental endorsement does not require eradication of all religious symbols in the public realm. A cross by the side of a public highway marking, for instance, the place where a state trooper perished need not be taken as a statement of governmental support for sectarian beliefs."

CAN YOU IMAGINE?

For every one set of crosses torn down by a Ministerial Justice another 20 rise in its place? The ACLU goon squad would soon cease to have reason to exist for it would bankrupt them just fighting our expression of freedom! The anti-freedom of religion left can’t possibly keep up with an effort such as this! They can't bulldoze 70% of the private land in America.

So Americans, don’t just get mad, GET EVEN! Make is so they can’t possibly take our freedom of speech and religion down!

Often we will find that the best solution to tyranny is in the simplest and least expensive path to freedom, the sheer beauty of the expression of freedom. If we don't use it, we will lose it.

The Coming Bowel Movement

The Obamabots, those glassy-eyed subhuman species who thrill to the tingles every lie the great one tells, stood up last week and shouted “Thank You!” to the great one as he made fun of every red blooded American freedom lover on the streets protesting his tax and spend policies.

Obama makes light of anti-tax protests. President Obama said during a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Miami on Thursday that he was "amused" by tea party rallies across the US, observing that he has signed tax cuts into law. Obama told the crowd at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts, one of two Miami DNC fundraisers he attended Thursday, that he has "cut taxes, contrary to the claims of protesters." The President said, "You would think they'd be saying thank you." Many in the crowd then "stood and yelled, 'Thank you!'

Well, this red-blooded American says No Thanks, Mr. Obama. No thanks indeed.

You lied on lowering taxes.

You lied on transparency.

You lied on being a centrist; in fact you are as extreme as they come.

You lie on lying; you are doing so right now on the VAT taxes you can’t wait to push the overcharge button to initiate.

You are the epitome of everything the founders warned us about. You are at best a Socialist and at worst a Marxist and we are not buying what you are selling. Not one little bit.

Yesterday your evil twin over at ACORN turned her Alinsky poisoned spirit on the Tea Party Movement, calling us a Bowel Movement. I can just see you and your Chief of Staff giggling in utter delight as you watched that particular video, sitting back on your haunches like the dogs that you are, laughing in delight with the word picture Bertha Lewis spat off her vile tongue. What you and Congress don’t yet realize, sir, is that the description is actually a perfect turn of phrase to depict what we have in mind for you as we turn these last 14 months around starting this November.

We are the teaming masses sir, we are the people! We are the real article and if there is one thing we know, it is just how powerful we are. We are more powerful than you can ever imagine. We are so committed to the internal cleansing of this nation that you will look back on your ACORN assisted usurpation of the White House and wish you had never bound us up with your actions. We embrace that description Mr. Obama. We vow to be the laxative this country needs as our cleansing action is totally aimed at you and your associated parasites.

Nature does have a way of dealing with its infections, sir, and you are the head of this particular plague on our great and exceptional nation. We fully recognize that you are the biggest source of the constipation plaguing our system of government as you seek to control all aspects of society and then set about shredding every vestige of liberty within our constitution. I predict you will see the culmination of this first of several cleansings in this coming election and that it will be the largest evacuation of parasites you have ever witnessed as your plan dissolves into so much putrid liquid and global warming caused methane as we work out our constitutional cleansing on you.

I trust that this election you come to realize exactly how deeply your pogrom has failed. I trust this will be the most humiliating moment you will ever live through and that you will writhe with all the pain you have bestowed onto the collective good and decent citizens of this great country as you watch this empire you have tried to build dissolve into the very pile of excrement that it is. May the waves of cramps that these movements promise to instill be prolonged, excruciating, revealing, and unbearable for you and your faux presidency.

May this particular movement expose you for the marxist individual that you are and may your ensuing stench cause you to be bereft of your friends, all trust, any stature and all hope that the cleansing will end soon, sir - as no one will be able to bear to be in the same room with you, let alone continue to cover your effusive behind anymore. I pray that God in heaven will show you for the very constipated spirit that you are and that He causes you to end your regime in all the lame duck glory you deserve, just as weak as a kitten.

We proud Americans will then set about the work we are not too ashamed or too unwilling to do, to clean up the crap you have sprayed over this great country and our constitution.

Let's Not Get Too Late Schmart!

Ah, the old sayings, so full of wisdom....Too Soon Old, Too Late Schmart...How true it is.

Fellow freedom fighters, let's not make that same mistake in our efforts to take our country back.

Today I came across an article in WaPo titled "With midterms approaching, GOP outmatched by Democrats on campaign funds"

"The Republican Party's strategy since early last year of lock-step opposition to the Obama administration's major legislative initiatives has proved to be less bankable than some party leaders may have anticipated.

With eight months to go before congressional elections, House and Senate Democratic candidates exceed in virtually every important campaign fundraising category. Democratic House lawmakers appear likely to reverse their seven-cycle record of being outspent by House Republicans, according to recent finance reports.

Democrats in both chambers are enjoying the traditional advantages of majority-party status -- and then some. They lead in donations by political action committees, by committees affiliated with the national political parties or with House and Senate leaders, and in individual contributions to incumbent lawmakers. In some instances, their lead exceeds what the Republicans had when that party controlled both chambers in the 2005-06 midterm election cycle.

To no surprise, analysts differ by party on the causes and significance of the disparity. Some Republicans say a donations surge may still come in the campaign's final months, particularly as the party courts new, small donors outside Washington. They also complain that donations to party stalwarts have been affected by internal squabbles with rebellious tea partiers, which they hope will end soon."

In our desire to return to our roots, to our constitutional values we all hold so dear, we are failing to realize the political realities of the near future. The consequences of our stubborn rebellion and anger will be our undoing if we are not very careful to turn that old Irish saying around on ourselves VERY QUICKLY. We need to become Very Soon Schmart!

While we want absolutely no liberal leaning in our candidates, we cannot have that...that is akin to a perfect world and if by our age, we don't realize that nothing is perfect, then we lose.

If we are to have a hope of at least not funding the healthcare bill, to unseat Pelosi, Reid and every other democrat who voted for this monstrosity of a freedom stealing bill and to destroy Obama's plan, getting him out of office in 1022 days in order to repeal this bill, then we must unite and we MUST be smart about it. As much as we may hate the thought of electing a less than perfect candidate, we are stuck with two parties, lest you forget Bush 1 losing to Clinton because of Perot.

Later; after we get this whole team out of office, elect a conservative president, and repeal this bill; then we can look at reforming the GOP as Reagan did in the 60's. Until then we must be content and resigned to color inside the lines. Until then, if you are a Reagan Democrat, work within your party, join your precinct, take back your party and you Reagan Republicans, Reagan Libertarians, Reagan Independents, do the same thing. If we 180 or so Million Conservatives(assuming by the latest polls that 60% of us are now awake) who don't like what is happening to our country, with the healthcare bill, the EPA regulations circumventing our constitutional process as it turns Global Warming into redistributive law and all the rest of their socialist progress can't turn it around in a single election cycle, then we deserve exactly what we get.

We must stop beating up on our own. Remember what Reagan said...never speak ill of another Republican! Don't buy the MSM efforts to discredit the GOP chairman regardless of whether it bothers you that someone took the YR to a lesbian S & M joint or not....the Dems have done MUCH worse, but they don't eat their own.

The progressives will win if we do not learn this lesson quickly. We need to get off the chairman's back, we need to shrug it off, ask him to take better care and to realize there are infiltrator's that he is dealing with in his organization the same as there are infiltrator's we are dealing with. Stop the sibling rivalry and win this one for the Gipper, friends -or risk losing our country - perhaps forever. So open your checkbooks, work to get the best Republican you are handed elected, ignore the Tea Party infiltrators from the bowels of Harry Reid's evil devises, forgive the less than perfect for their wrong and once in, hold them to the right!

Remember who the true teabaggers are and they are not us, they are those very same infiltrators made destructive by Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.

Are the Al Qaeda 7 Just John Adams Wannabe's

In the Atlantic today I found a rather slanted article titled Not Believing in America "Liz Cheney and company tear at the legal system that makes this country free and exceptional by targeting the rights of the accused and their attorneys"

It's about time we let the left professorial elite know that trying to fit a round peg in a square hole to call it a 'fitting historical example' just isn't cutting it with us any more. We know the truth and we will report the truth. I couldn't take it anymore. I wrote the author the following:

Dear Mr. Edwards,

While I agree with the majority of your article and we are of the same generation, I am just not sure I get your point on the “Al Qaeda 7”.

To the overall patriotism of your article, I couldn’t agree more. I am astounded when I hear a 20-something say what a horrible country we are and verbally ponder why anyone would ever want to emigrate here. I wonder what KoolAid their professors are feeding them to cause them to think this way, as we are still the most forgiving and free nation on the face of the earth. The United States of America as a whole with her people and her history is exceptional without a doubt. Aside from the fact that I am watching our government trying to run our “exceptionalism” into the ground and I see them working hard to make us “just another European Nation” with every bit of power they have in their arsenal, while engaging in interference with other nations (such as Honduras and others) where we have no business, we are not yet without exceptionalism.

But to your argument concerning the “Al Qaeda 7”, I am not seeing it the way you do. What exactly is your point about Cheney and Kristol? I think in this case they are correct in what they are saying.

Yes, John Adams defended the British soldiers. What you aren’t remembering is that those soldiers of the Boston Massacre were tried prior to the revolution. They were here by order of the crown, acting as the “policemen”, or if you will, the “tax-enforcers” in the colonies. We were still British Subjects in the eyes of the crown, and they were sent here to quell the growing anger of “taxation without representation”.

The Boston Massacre occurred in 1770, prior to any physical separation between the British government and the colonies, during a time of great unrest. We may have been rebelling, may have declared our intention to separate, but we had not yet won separation. Adams, perhaps to the consternation of many sympathizers, stated he felt it was his duty to defend them, to show our colonies as fair in our justice to the crown.

Your argument is more equal to a modern day analogy of an attorney choosing to defend a National Guardsmen after a riot which had gone so badly that in self defense, he felt rightly or wrongly compelled to kill many rioters. The guardsman would require defense because he fired the first shots killing rioters who he felt threatened him. He has the ability and the right to defend himself with the specific defense that he was threatened in some physical way, and he was acting in defense of his own life or those of his fellow guardsmen. He and the rioters are all citizens of the same nation. There was civil unrest. There was a physical assault. There was an even greater threat by those behind the original attacker and the escalation became a tragedy. He would deserve a defense, although the wounded parties or their sympathizers may not agree and it may be an unpopular defense to them. That was what Adams did.

That’s a bit of a different scenario than Panti-bombers and other war criminals who come here to blow up airplanes full of travelers above cities, or to fly those planes directly into people’s work places, don’t you think?

In this case, it is not our own countrymen we are fighting (unless in a few cases they became citizens prior to deciding to blow us up). We are not subjects of those suicide bombers who believe themselves to be “soldiers”. We are not a nation attempting to reason or to separate from the motherland through which they hail. Moreover, we are currently at war with their countries or at the very least their religious misconceptions which cause them to become fighters for those countries for the sake of jihad. They were not threatened by a mob of people rioting against them. They boarded planes with the strict intent to kill all aboard for reasons of hateful intentions to prove a point without regard to those “unbelievers”.

You are comparing apples and oranges with your argument.

Another key point about Adams is that he didn’t enter the federal government for another 19 years after trying those soldiers, nor did he take any position within the government that had anything to do with continuing to defend the similarly accused leading up to, during, or after the war. These attorney’s came straight from those unfinished cases to Justice. That’s a huge difference.

Overall, this whole war is a deeply complex and difficult issue. That and our agreements or differences as to why we are in it aside, we are in a war. That makes the cards in your argument play quite differently. On the one hand you have the inequality of the comparisons, on the other, the average American’s mindset on the whole deal. I am not talking Harvard or Princeton’s intellectually elite mindset; I am talking the average American’s mindset.

The American public is typically of the “You want to fight us? Bring it on” mindset when somebody brings acts of war to our shores. Blowing up planeloads of regular folks is an act of war. Our intent is to make war fair and square, military to military and we will fight it. There are accepted Rules of Engagement. Don’t be setting off bombs in your panties on a Christmas Day flight full of regular families who are just going to observe their familial traditions, and certainly don’t take plane loads of workers, children and women hostage and fly them into tall buildings on a bright blue day, and expect us to feel sorry for you if you get caught before you succeed in blowing us all up. You deserve trial, but in a military tribunal if you are caught. If you are guilty, then you deserve to be incarcerated for life in a military prison or sentenced to death.

American citizens culturally loathe unfair fights, especially when it involves killing innocent citizens in acts of mass murder, whether or not you take yourself with you, rather than engaging our trained and paid military. We have words and phrases for acts like that, one of which is baby killers. Just like our decades of fighting the similar war of Barbary Bay where they would take hostage our shipments overseas or our transits, holding innocent Americans hostage for ransom, we cannot continue to pay bribes, do business with, or to use these murderous fanatics with the one hand and fight them with the other. Thomas Jefferson had it right – cut them off financially, realize our mistakes, don’t repeat those mistakes, fight to win the war fair and square – battle by battle – and get back to the business of America. On the Shores of Tripoli and all that.

In reality, what you are saying is nothing new under the sun. Every young attorney truly covets a high profile cases such as these. It makes those 100 hour weeks go by quickly. It assures them stature in all the right places to further their careers and make the big bucks, just like the shining stars they believe themselves to be. It catapults them into partner like nothing else. It garners those awards, promotions, the visibility, and accolades at every turn. But it should not catapult them into a governmental position so powerful as to ensure justice for Americans against the very ones they just finished defending or were hired away from defending!

It is a conflict of interest to come off a defense team and turn around to take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States while agreeing to serve as US prosecutors to those very cases of which you are intimately familiar. The Al Qaeda 7 attorney’s obviously have a soft spot for these prisoners (or a keen eye for the fast track) or they wouldn’t have agreed to defend them in the first place. A Dept of Justice attorney’s job is to ensuring Justice first and foremost to those very same work-a-day folks who died that day and to defend the constitution, not provide civilian criminal trials to war criminals when we are at war. They aren’t citizens; they are jihadists who would no sooner look at you and me than kill us. In the case of KSM, he had already admitted guilt. He was on his way to court and Obama stopped it. Imagine how those families of the USS Cole feel. Just imagine had it been your son or daughter.

Let’s look at it another way. Let’s say I am a business who is entangled in a patent case. I am being accused of stealing a patent. You are one of the young attorney’s at my defense teams firm. Let’s say you have prepared briefs for my attorney’s, doing what young and bright attorney’s do. Later, while the case is still active, but long and drawn out, you quit the firm I hired to defend me, and go to work for the firm who is working for my accusers, or even another firm who is later brought in as 2nd chair to my accuser’s firm.

Is it a conflict of interest for them to hire you? Would my defense team think it would be a conflict, knowing that you know a goodly amount of the defense that I am bringing? Could you potentially build a case around all that known evidence in my defense to help my accuser’s team win the case? What kind of fight would ensue from my defense team against you and your new firm? I would venture to say huge, even if only hired by the newly appointed 2nd chair firm. I would venture to say they would be at that bench for hours convincing the judge that you cannot be anywhere near my case – they would fight that your new firm cannot be anywhere near my case regardless of whether you are officially on the case or not. Who knows what pay off you may have received. Who knows what damage you may cause my case in back door deals, or even how much damage you may cause to the other side if you were so inclined to subvert their case against me. Who’s to know you aren’t playing both sides for some unknown third party interest?

Am I wrong?

So why is this any different? Is it because it is an “unpopular” defense? Not really, because those attorneys became shining stars to the far left’s ideology. Is it because of liberal bias that this case is somehow different? Is it because it is the popular thing to think that jihadists are somehow different than other war criminals? Is it because CAIR is mixed up in here somehow as an interested third party? The same questions my defense team would be raising are the very questions that are arising in the minds of the American people - and frankly, it is pi$$ing us off.

Justice may be blind sir, but she isn’t stupid. She knows when a conflict of interest exists. From my perspective, it is these “Al Qaeda 7” that represent the very definition of a conflict of interest. Our family was fortunate on 9/11, in two cases, with my husband in the air on a different flight (which we thought was flight 93 due to a misstatement made by a reporter) and my brother in law at the Pentagon (who went dark and we didn’t hear from for 2 weeks), we thought we had lost our loved ones and in both cases, thankfully, we hadn’t. But not losing anyone doesn’t make it much better. We still watched those planes loaded with innocents turned into bombs that killed thousands more innocents.

To us, these attorney’s pictures could be laid right beside the word listing “Conflict of Interest” and the definition would speak for itself. I believe that nearly every red-blooded American feels the same as well.

Taxpayers already pay for the war, we already give untold monies to feed the jihadists, Hamas, and the Taliban themselves, and we repatriate them here. To know this, all we must do is to remember the storehouses of undistributed goods and foods we sent to the Iraqi’s during Saddam’s reign. We are losing our special relationships with Israel and the UK. That’s quite enough of the right hand playing the left, don’t you think? We don’t want to add paying for public trials that will give these self-admitted murderers (who call themselves righteous warriors) a pulpit to sound the battle cry anew. The majority of us don’t want them in our prisons proselytizing and recruiting our prisoners. We want them separate and we want them prosecuted by military tribunals. Don’t you get that?

It isn’t undoing what made this a great country, it is doing governments #1 job, protecting the citizens of the United States against all known or perceived threats from inside or outside the Union.

Somehow, I think both John Adams and Thomas Jefferson would agree.

It’s very interesting to watch how something so everyday suddenly becomes political.

First the First Lady says fat people are a National Security Risk and then the paid off “experts” agree (wonder which of those will end up in an appointment)…. Now they say 'Heavier people' are bad for the economy.

The drumbeat continues to turn the population AGAINST a segment of society – any segment will do. Smokers were the last decade, now fatty’s are the new decade.

Why, you ask? So they can tax it. If it moves, if it doesn’t move, or if it even exists - tax it! And along the way, we will probably hear some murder defenses which purport some creep killed some fatty because he was a drain on his welfare check.

Do they really not realize how damaging these campaigns against a singled out segment of society will be to the not so stable of our nation? Sure they do, they don’t care.

So tell me, oh ye progressive governmental purveyors of destruction, which is it? Are fatty’s a threat to National Security or to the Economy? Both, you say? How convenient for you! All that is wrong with the nation is just a problem of fatty’s. Not politicians seeking a career, not progressives seeking the takeover of America and putting into place bigger PROHIBITIONS (which in case you didn’t know is the key to progressive politics….it’s not about “moving forward” - it is strictly about “moving backwards” into taxing everything and taking things away – an easier way to remember it is Progressives = Prohibition).

But No. It is all the fatty’s fault. How else can you tax it? How sick are the politicians of this nation, really? Would seem to me that fat people are just fine where they are…it’s the progressives who are the threat.

The Imminent Death of American Healthcare

A Pre-Decedent Death Vigil Notice

American Healthcare has been given her death panel. She will be sentenced to die of a disease called Socialized Medicine, a disease better known as “Obamacare”.

The President and our legislators Pelosi and Reid tell us her death is to occur on or before Easter 2010. Like the Christmas Eve vote, once again they determine to remove not only the joy of our Christian holiday, but the hope of our future health.

While not perfect, American Healthcare has provided her citizens and the citizens of all nations with comfort and healing throughout the generations. She has given renewed health to the infirm, made the lame to walk, healed the uninsured accident victim, and enabled the cancer victim to walk away cancer free on untold occasions. She has done so without question, regardless of the ability to pay. A miracle worker every day, her hallowed abilities will be sorely missed by all. American Healthcare surely is a hero loved by all.

American Healthcare has treated Kings not as fortunate for medical advancement within their own borders, as well as has provided worldclass treatment for the poorest and sickest of humanity throughout the world. Prime Ministers from socialist countries enter her beds for premier heart surgeries; just as the downtrodden, those found beaten and left for dead on "Anywhere Alley", USA have received the same tender loving care. Untold Millions have exited her doors in restored health - whole and healed. The sick child from Haiti, the Leukemia patient from England, the brain tumor victim from Canada, the Siamese twins from India and we are always welcome in her beds.

Indeed, American Healthcare, along with her helpers, our physicians and nurses, repeatedly open their beds to treat the masses from all walks of life. American healthcare is blind to station, but never to those desperately in need of world class treatment for life threatening conditions – oftentimes at no cost to the patient.

Now we citizens are told they will install panels to decide what treatment we will be permitted to receive. If we are not of prime age or perfect health, we will be given over to death panels whose job it will be to provide us with counseling to end our lives, to order lesser care, or perhaps a letter offering to pay for the drugs for our suicide – all to “insure” 30 million people.

What else will they do? We know they will enter our checking accounts for auto withdrawals, track our health through the IRS, and tax or jail us if we refuse to buy their insurance. We know they will use our tax dollars to provide for abortions and the continued culling of the human race. As was proposed in the American Mecca of socialized medicine (Massachusetts) just Thursday; should we also expect that our faith-based and deeply personal circumcision decisions be outlawed for cost containment reasons?

Once American Healthcare dies, there will be nowhere else in the world for anyone to go for premier care and the newest advancements in medicine. Where can we go where we are assured the best care in the world regardless of our wealth or ability to pay? No other country will offer us what America offers now. Rather, we are being warned by nearly 45% of the doctors that they will no longer be able to afford to practice. They will be forced to retire.

Our taxes will increase, in exchange for receiving substandard care. Our choices will no longer be our own, and our own doctors may very well choose to close their doors.

Please join us to pray for American Healthcare’s miracle – the very miracle she has given so many of us - renewed health and reprieve from certain death. A candlelight vigil for the wellbeing of American Healthcare is scheduled for Sunday, March 7th at NCH Main Hospital in front of the parking garage on US 41 at 7:30 – 8:30 PM. We will meet there this Sunday and every Sunday evening thereafter until we see this big government American Healthcare death panel fail.

Bring your candles, your bibles to “cling to” and the words to the song “We shall Overcome”. We will pray fervently for the death of the Obamacare in order to save the life of American Healthcare.

And Please! If you do not live in the SWFL area, show up at your own main hospitals for a nationwide candlelight prayer vigil tomorrow night. We know it is cold, we know it is short notice, but this is a call for emergency supernatural medicine. As she, American Healthcare, was there for you in your hour of need, please be there for her in her death throes.

We Must STOP Spending!

Sen. Bunning: 'Paygo Means Paygo'
In effect, Sen. Bunning said to his congressional colleagues, "Before we expand a program, let's make sure we can pay for it." Defying Democrats and most Republicans, he objected to a motion for unanimous consent on an extension of unemployment benefits.

I can’t even express how disappointed I am in both parties that a month ago they passed Paygo and they are already beating up the only Senator prepared to hold them to their word.

Yes, times are hard, but unless big government controls its spending, we will never pull out of this. We simply cannot TRIPLE down on our deficit in a single year and expect things to go well in 10 years. With interest rates at their lowest ever now, and interest payments to China, to the Fed, to the UK, to everywhere already obscene, what will we see in 10 years at this interest rate? 800 billion a day in interest payments? What then if interest rates increase?

Everyone thinks their group is entitled, that it does good - from drug and alcohol rehab centers to families needing longer unemployment, to poor folks buying their American dream home – when and where does it end?

To turn it around will be painful, but turn it around we must. Lest they be forced eventually to begin killing off “the teaming mass of humanity” clamoring for ever more free rides. Hence healthcare reform and OTC vitamins…what better way to quickly cull the “non productive”, those of us with pre-existing anything, illness, addiction or simple greed?

Not only that, but I am so weary of the Dems new line…do it for pre-existing! If that were true, why are they already proposing to cull benefits for the elderly and infirm on Medicaid/Medicare. Their lies are the web that entraps.

It is a lie straight from the pits of hell and we must stop it NOW!

A Rebuttal to Liberal Lunacy In The Form of NYTimes Frank Rich

Since The Times refused to post my rebuttal to Frank Rich in his piece "The Axis of the Obsessed and Deranged Violent invective, once largely confined to blogs and talk radio, is now spreading among Republicans in public office or aspiring to it.", I decided to post it here.

Frank, you’ve really no idea from where you speak, do you? That you would even place Stack in with Tea Partiers shows you are being a hack in order to ruffle feathers, rather than a serious reporter or opinion maker.

The majority of Tea Party activists are regular moms and dads who learned about the constitution and the true history of this country in school. I might add, we were the last generation to do so, from the last baby boomer through the oldest remaining.
We are teaching our kids. We are uniting in freedom. We don’t need a “leader”, we were born in freedom and we understand it innately. We don't like BIG government, as opposed to your accusation of any government at all.

We are staid, work a day, average Americans who are looking on with alarm at our:

• Shrinking (or non-existent) paychecks
• At the loss of our freedoms
• At the mass creation of fiat dollars
• At “jobless recoveries” (whatever the heck that means)
• At government owned everything
• At bank and company bailouts and
• At an uncontrolled, uncontrollable government and business symbiosis that will, if given the chance, catapult us into a 1930's style Germany where the likes of IG Farben and the government gained the position of ruling everything.

We fully understand that absolute power corrupts absolutely. We know and understand the sayings of our forefathers "A government big enough...", "When the people fear their government..." Look them up, they aren’t hard to find. They were warnings to the people of America that were and remain prophetic.

We don't want a nation where government workers outnumber private sector workers who make more money (off our backs) than the private sector employees (through free enterprise). We don't want a world where fake overprinted fiat dollars draws down the value of everything, where we are working three quarters of the year just to meet the hunger of BIG government while leaving our families wanting because of the pittance we are allowed to keep. We don't want, as Evan Thomas so proudly proclaimed, to all be socialists now, led by a sort of a god!

We are reasoned and reasonable middle class people who see our class, through the likes of Goldman Sachs (because of naked short selling, M2M, CDO’s, CDS’s and the removal of the uptick rule) who will literally steal $18 Trillion dollars worth of this nation’s personal wealth - the people’s wealth. Wealth we worked very hard to gain. We want to be responsible for our own families first, then reach out to others second, as it should be.

Our goal is not to feed the ever-hungry government who now has its eye on our personal healthcare and our retirement funds.

We will stand against a government who will take everything for the elite on Wall Street and the Soros’ of the world, who will allow "too big to fail" companies to make use of our future dollars to turn the biggest profit ever in a single quarter (immediately following the bailouts) and who now turn their greed on the likes of Greece as they short everything to steal what is left there. We didn’t create this mess. They did. Let them dig us out.

We aren't sheep. We aren't stupid. We aren't crazy. We simply see too many similarities to other points in history and we simply refuse to go there. We are making our voices heard. We are successful through peaceful means, as exampled in New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts elections. There are more of those to come, Mr. Rich. Mark my words.

I was one of the tea party people to meet with Michael Steele. I will gladly meet with Tim Kaine. We don't believe in “no government” as you accuse, we understand the need for politics. We simply believe in balance, the rule of law, our constitution and personal responsibility.

In this country the elected are servants of the people. We are a REPUBLIC. We have successfully held off the healthcare disaster to date, Cap and Trade and many more. We will continue to do so because between those two bills and the bailouts, we are looking at nearly 30% of the GDP. A country like ours cannot sustain itself on that level of the GDP being government owned. We know that. The question remains,” Why don't you?”

We aren't the Stack’s of the world, but we are a force to be reckoned with. You can’t control us, no one does. We are independent minded successful people who have made it this far without government involvement and we plan to keep it that way. We are moms, dads, company owners, kids and grandparents who believe vociferously in the American Dream. We will not allow any bully pulpit, any president or one party rule situation take that away from our kids. They deserve the very same opportunities we had. No less.

So please. Learn from where you speak. Look at your man’s polls. We are the great people of this nation and no single man, president or not will take us down.

We are the people.
We have our rights god-given, not man given, therefore they can not be taken away.
We won’t allow that to happen.
Just watch us November 2, 2010 and again in 2012.
We, the giant are now awake and we are watching every single move this government is making. We do surround you, in size, in votes, in numbers.
We don’t need violence or crazy misled acts. We can do this all on our own, one vote at a time.

Fear THAT!

Meeting with Michael Steele and the Tea Party Groups

As many of you know, Cheryl, Terri and I went to the grassroots private meeting with Michael Steele last evening. We understand there is some controversy within the various conservative groups surrounding this meeting. Some are saying we shouldn’t be taking a seat before what could be considered a “part of the problem”. We felt strongly that without having a face to face with party leaders we would be effectively shutting down the most important part of the process: that of allowing our group’s voice to be heard to the powers that be.

Over the course of the next few days, we will be explaining what happened here in detail, but first we wanted to give an overview of the takeaways from this meeting and address the concerns and the news.

We believe that to be effective leaders for the group, one of our main responsibilities is to take advantage of any opportunity to be heard by the leaders of every political avenue available. We believe that to be fully aware of someone’s intentions, it is the best and fastest to simply ask them.

We were very direct as a group last night to ask the RNC Party Chairman if his intentions were to co-opt the various groups and if the GOP’s intention was to fold on Healthcare Reform. We were very pleased by his answers on these questions and many others.

Overall, this was a fantastic meeting. Not only because of what Michael Steele said to us, but more than that, how much he listened to what we had to say. I mean really listened. We were slated to be there for one hour, we were in that meeting for going on 3.5 hours. That was quite a telling statement to us. The RNC is getting that it is high time they sat and listened, took it on the chin and heard what the groups that were represented wanted from our various leaders. It is important to note – we were not there representing the “movement”, we were there representing our group.

Mr. Steele made three key points to us:

1. Maintain the energy in our groups, amp it up even. We are having an earth shattering effect on Washington in general and the DNC/Progressives and their state-run media in particular. In fact, he stated it was nothing short of the effect that the founders had in the first revolution.
2. Made the very strongly stated point that we are the answer to this country’s problems, not those in various offices or in party leadership. The RNC is looking to us for their marching orders, not the other way around. We are shattering the standards, we are the voters, but we are acting in a way that old established Washington has no idea how to handle, understands it is way bigger then they, and has a sense of fear they will lose this particular war. They don’t know how to poll it, play it, combat it, and they don’t know what to do with it. The old standards aren’t working anymore and we need to keep that up. We learned that Michael Steele originated from DC and is a grassroots based individual whose goal is to shake up party establishment and return to a bottom up organization.
3. Get out the vote and run them if you’ve got them.
   

He also taught us the roles of the parties versus the roles of the GOP, the DNC, the candidates, the elected, and the people. It was very interesting and will be the next topic we go over on Friday. This is something we did not understand and we don’t believe many people do understand.

We made many points to him, which we will go over in detail in the coming days. The main ones were:

1. We do not desire to be co-opted. He answered very clearly that is not a threat at all. What we are hearing is spin and word twisting from left based media and the democrats, not the RNC.
   
2. We do not feel he is stating his message clearly at all. He is confusing the issues by what he says versus what he states he feels personally, namely that he is one of us and not of “old party” which makes him the odd man out in Washington. I responded directly to that statement, then rid yourself of the “politi-speak” and make your messages very clear, direct, exact, because we aren’t getting your message.
   
3. Part two of that same question was that the ground game for conservatives is not there. We don’t hear the message as conservatives and if we aren’t hearing it, many voters not yet immersed in the movement aren’t hearing it or seeing it. He stated that this will change within the next few weeks. There is an entire bottom up program being finalized now that the RNC will run with to provide us with avenues to utilize.
   
4. We stated we are VERY concerned about the Blair House meeting and we want a definitive answer on what their response will be. They aren’t strategizing and we require a strategy. He wrote that down and stated he would talk to minority leaders to encourage them to consider their alternatives and game plans.
   
5. We don’t want “the party of no” label. We want “the party of HELL NO!” label.
   
6. We voiced quite a few concerns about local issues, and he directed us to involvement with our local RNC and our voice there. Additionally he was very encouraging about the precinct involvement and explained where his duties lie in the scheme of things.
   In addition there were many interesting points made, things we didn’t understand but better understand now. Those we will save for different editions.

What Mr. Steele meant by “Republican’s aren’t ready to win” among other key questions we have had were explained in depth and made great sense, however he did agree that he is not being clear enough.

The key issue I raised was grassroots doesn’t speak politispeak, he needs to be very clear when he makes these statements and he agreed that he was not clarifying his thoughts enough. This is going to hopefully be the beginning of an ongoing dialogue. We are very encouraged and excited by the outcomes last night.

The RNC from Mr. Steele’s perspective is that they don’t want to co-opt us. They are willing to do what we need them to do within the perimeters of their role in politics and the political process. They hear us, and they do fear us.

When we ended our after meeting dinner meeting the group leaders agreed that our motto is “Independent but Together”.

Next edition will cover the role of the NC’s in politics. What we can expect from them as the election moves forward and what is not within their charter to do.

Creeping Gradualism

I am so shocked by the following series of articles, yet I have heard barely a ripple of conversation, news reports or pundit discussion concerning its content.

It feels very much like a deep black hole in the information age.

The below articles provides the missing pieces to a very complex puzzle that causes one pause.

Presidential Assassinations of U.S. Citizens
Last week, Glen Greenwald of Salon.com wrote about a shocking revelation buried in a Washington Post article by Dana Priest which described how the Obama administration has adopted the Bush policy of targeting selected American citizens for assassination if they are deemed by the President to be "terrorists". As The Washington Times' Eli Lake reports, Adm. Dennis Blair was asked about this program at a Congressional hearing Tuesday and he acknowledged its existence:

The U.S. intelligence community policy on killing American citizens who have joined al Qaeda requires first obtaining high-level government approval, a senior official disclosed to Congress on Wednesday.

Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair said in each case a decision to use lethal force against a U.S. citizen must get special permission. . . .He also said there are criteria that must be met to authorize the killing of a U.S. citizen that include "whether that American is involved in a group that is trying to attack us, whether that American is a threat to other Americans. Those are the factors involved."

Where have we heard words like those before?

It is quite a dangerous situation the American people find themselves in, although as a whole, we just don’t know it yet. I am going to do my best attempt to explain why.

It's bringing the frog to a slow boil.

In 1930’s Austria they called it "Creeping Gradualism".

We used to be against tyranny in this country. We fought and won World Wars against it. We fought and won the Revolutionary War for the same reason.

We are a nation completely blind to what is to become of us, what danger awaits us, but I believe that before we know it we are all in danger of being deemed "a threat to other Americans" simply because we don't like the loss of our freedoms and we are organizing to push against this monolithic governmental empire they are creating.

Flashback: We were already identified as potential terrorists in the DHS directive last April. The (U//FOUO) Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment document clearly states " the threat posed by lone wolves and small terrorist cells is more pronounced than in past years. In addition, the historical election of an African American president and the prospect of policy changes are proving to be a driving force for rightwing extremist recruitment and radicalization."

My concerns run deep on this issue and although it has constantly nagged me for nearly a year, I just couldn’t put my finger on what was bothering me so deeply - besides the obvious, of course. I knew something was drastically wrong, but I didn’t have all the pieces.

Adding the revelation of presidential directive to the puzzle last week and this newest article today, “Obama Admin wants to track cellphones; 'Americans enjoy NO reasonable expectation of privacy', I feel a chill so deep that no Florida sun can penetrate. All the pieces have tumbled into place in my mind.

This President will try Abdulmutallab the pantibomber, KSM of USS Cole fame (whose tribunal he stopped after his admission of guilt at the military trial), and Hasan the infamous soldier slayer in US Civilian Courts.

Obama via Holder will afford them constitutional protection. He has mirandized them. They have just finished trying Pakistani Scientist Aafia Siddiqui and found her guilty of two counts of attempted murder of US Soldiers in Civilian Criminal Courts - yet he ORDERS assassinations on US Citizens without benefit of trial?

At least Bush was consistent in his directive (if that can be considered a plus at all) - but this president acts without the equality of the thing and orders the murder of Americans at the same time he fiercely protects terrorists. Not only that, but he calls it racism to do otherwise.

Do we at all understand what this means to those of us born and raised in America? To the everyday natural citizens of these United States?

Do we know what criteria they are using to determine these American citizens are "terrorists"?

Is it just the newly granted citizens, those who are now known to be terrorists but who somehow made it through citizenship without detection - or is it something far more insidious, something that we only got a whiff of in last April’s DHS missive?

What are the criteria Mr. President? List it out for us, please.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Is it simply okay to give admitted terrorists access to our Constitutional Rights, yet not afford our own citizens those same rights?

Apparently that is our brave new world of hope and change.

The Freedom Stealing Trifecta and One Party Rule

4 Patriot Act
4 Executive Decisions/Directives
4 Congressional Pseudo-Wars


The Patriot Act has effectively suspended the Writ of Habeus Corpus for American Citizens.

It allows them to search us at will and detain us indefinitely under "suspicion".

It affords us NO access to speedy trials or even an attorney on the "assumption" that we are a threat.

Apparently it also allows them to assassinate us.

Yet they afford admitted terrorists fair trials with our tax dollars even when they are caught trying to set off a bomb in their panties on a planeload of Christmas Vacationers! SCOTUS stripped us of our right to have an attorney present in May of last year, but this apparently doesn’t apply to terrorists.

The entire purpose of habeas is to say, “Look at me! I’m being detained/abused/disenfranchised contrary to law”. If there’s no writ available, the result is that the government can hold you “against the law”. Since the writ encompasses the full scope of our Constitutional rights, it’s a logical conclusion is to say that while it’s suspended, Americans currently have NO exercisable constitutional rights.

My heart is heavy and my mind is boggled by this as I witness and hear of case after case against our Constitutional and God given rights. Fathers denied their children, children on no fly lists who cannot find recourse to be removed, citizens who are subjected to unlawful search and seizures, and the list goes on and on.

Effectively, they are saying they have all power to do all things because Congress has given the powers of Military License and Force to "protect" citizens, while in reality they take away ALL our liberties in the Patriot Act.

The President, by saying “I can kill you at will because I am the President of the United States and I believe you to be a "terrorist" threat.”, literally means you have a "free for all" from the government’s perspective.

The door has slammed shut on your freedoms.

Creeping gradualism is no longer creeping, my friends, the serfdom has arrived.

What is considered our most basic liberty, our writ of habeas corpus, was finally and completely removed between the trifecta of the AUMF of 2001, the Executive Directive of assassination, and The Patriot Act. All of this because of the very terrorists we are mirandizing right now.

We The People vs The Machine

The Constitution of the United States very clearly states:

1) Congress has the power to declare war.

2) Constitutional provisions cannot be altered by statute.

Based on those 2 points, it is interesting to note that Congress has not actually declared war since Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania on June 5, 1942. They have however, declared many Military Engagements and AUMF's (Authorizations of Use of Military Force) as the functional equivalent of a declaration of war.

In Point 2, nothing in the Constitution can be reasonably construed to allow Congress to reallocate powers to themselves in a more palatable or politically expedient manner. Yet that is precisely the effect the War Powers Resolution, by which "AUMFs" are passed, has done.

It has given them all encompassing political power.

In a time such as this with One Party Rule, this use becomes especially apparent as it did in the late 70’s, the early 90’s, the early to mid 00’s and now again this past year. The problem is that without the checks and balances, soon you become a single party system as seen in the 30’s and 40’s Austria, Germany, China, and are witnessing in Venezuela today through Chavez and his "istas".

Additionally, that is exactly how those currently in Congress intend to continue to use it to order to remain in power with the recent (Massachusetts, Virginia and New Jersey and the rise of the TEA Party) threats to their One Party Rule status. See Will Obama Play the War Card?

The War Powers Resolution limits Presidential authority in the use of force without an official resolution or declaration of war by Congress.

The controversial question then becomes, "Where the provisions therein are consistent with the Constitution". According to Wikipedia, in an argument for the unconstitutionality of the War Powers Resolution by Philip Bobbitt, it states that


"The power to make war is not an enumerated power" and the notion that to declare" war is to "commence" war is a "contemporary textual preconception". The Framers of the Constitution believed that statutory authorization was the route by which the United States would be committed to war, and that 'declaration' was meant for only total wars, as shown by the history of the Quasi-War with France (1798–1800); in general, constitutional powers are not so much separated as "linked and sequenced"; Congress's control over the armed forces is "structured" by propriation, while the president commands; thus the act of declaring war should not be fetishized."
Bobbitt also argues that "A democracy cannot ... tolerate secret policies" because they undermine the legitimacy of governmental action.”

Based on the in depth analysis of this explanation, the Constitution authorizes Congress to declare war, but it does not authorize Congress to declare Military Force, License or pseudo-wars whether or not they are politically expedient. The “preconception” is actually a misconception and a severe one at that.

3) In light of points 1 and 2, regardless of what Congress may have done, purposed or purports to do in the way of authorizing force, the AUMF is constitutionally a “brick short” of a war declaration.

This leaves the question of whether we have a need to consider or obey the war-time powers of the President - as they have not actually been constitutionally activated.

Logic dictates that the Executive Decision of the President to Assassinate US Citizens is then simply a legal loophole to authorize sending out “hit men” on American Citizens because he (or any of the organizations that he may empower) arbitrarily deem them to be terrorists.

In light of the DHS directive, secret watch lists and any number of things the American public cannot possibly know about, this indeed is a very dangerous position to find ourselves in as average Americans.

4) The Due Process clause of the 5th Amendment states quite clearly that government shall not deprive any person of life without due process of law.

A secret, unilateral, unreviewable determination that an individual is a “terrorist” by the President doesn't in any way, shape or form constitute "due process".

The Door Slamming Shut

The problem we face with this directive doesn't lie with shooting an enemy combatant who is shooting at us, regardless of whether that person is a US Citizen, nor does it include fighting true terrorists. It certainly doesn't concern capturing them, imprisoning them, interrogating them, or killing them before they kill us as those are all "normal" war time activities.

No, the problem lies with effectively calling out a "hit" on an American Citizen whom they arbitrarily determine is a risk, without due process, without a jury of our peers, without known proof or warning, while at the same time securing those same constitutional rights to known enemy combatants and war criminals they have just denied the newly declared American citizen “terrorist”.

Here are two very specific stances of our most recent President's:

1) Targeting specific individual citizens whom they believe have ill intent and ordering them shot on sight, presumably “in other countries”, although Blair didn’t actually use those parameters in his description of the directive.

2) The fact is that they view the world as their battlefield in this AUMF, including hits on citizens of the US, sending drones, secret or pseudo secret actions in Yemen, Pakistan and any other country they damn well please, without concern to collateral damage or definitive proof.

There is war, then there is just playing dirty. I understand that sometimes during war, playing dirty is collateral - it's called strategy - but this is beyond that. This is simply playing dirty most of the time, more so on American Citizens than on the actual enemy. An enemy who consistently breaks the rules of engagement no less: who has no uniforms, no marching orders, just murderous intent regardless of the collateral damage it may cause. In fact, they delight in murdering innocent citizens on their way to work or home for the holidays.

In reality, what highlights an American Citizen as a "terrorist"? Do we know?

We have no idea their criteria, but we have hints to what it might be that constitutes a "terrorist".

4 We have the Terrorist Watch list. Many of us left-titled "right wing extremists" (who are actually just natural and patriotic citizens) are probably teetering on the brink of being on that one because this president doesn't like dissent for his policies. In fact the DHS report says as much.

We may very well reside there simply because we are either Veterans, don't believe in abortion, do believe in the Second Amendment Right to Bear Arms, or we “cling” to our bibles. What of those who act as recruiters to community organizing conservatives, are bloggers, tea partiers, or any other ludicrous thing they can think of to include to marginalize and attack us?

4 We have the "No Fly List" (which houses untold natural US citizens), and

4 We have recent “questionable” citizenships they examine – unless, of course, they are Muslim – for that would be racist profiling.

4 Furthermore we have no access to any of the above lists, nor do we know if we, as an individual sit on either of the first two “lists”, and if we do, why we are there. We apparently can't find recourse to be removed from said list as recent revelations by those who find themselves on said list can attest.

This leads to the very real conclusion that anyone on a no fly list, a government deemed “right wing extremist” or virtually anyone the government targets could realistically be shot on sight or meet some other fatal event, even though he may have no prior knowledge of being on some list somewhere. The question that follows this conclusion then is: would that include his or her traveling companions as well? What if there are children around this big bad townhall attendee, veteran or tea partier?

Who’s to say since the world is the administrations battlefield, that regular people couldn’t meet with some “unfortunate accident” in their own backyard or driving to work one day? Who’s to say it couldn’t be one of us? Will we be shocked then?

The meaning of this executive directive is simply too broad, too secret, too arbitrary and far too outside the confines of the Constitutional boundaries under which our leaders rule. When considering we have 8 year olds who have been battling to be removed from the no fly list for 3 years, who are surely no danger to the US, it is highly likely there are other innocents who have been deemed dangerous to the US. I can easily extrapolate that list could include those of us who disagree with this president’s policies, whom he has already called out as “extremists”, and of which the DHS has further extrapolated the term to mean “terrorists” - or at the very least “terrorists in the making”.

The fact is that individual citizens have no chance to defend themselves against such a charge and it is a charge unbeknownst to them in most cases. They are a target and the President can simply say “just take them out”. That quickly. POOF! You are no more.

Combine those facts with the newly revealed adjacent "policy" that tells us the government has purposely allowed known terrorists into the US for Surveillance purposes. A policy which obviously has the potential to foment war upon the citizens of these United States, since such a one could escape surveillance easily enough in order to do the dirty deed they came here to do.

For good measure add in the loss of our economic freedoms that has been proven to have been brought upon us through a combination of congress, President’s (CFR and redistribution initiatives), cabinet appointees (deregulation of SEC trading rules), and the purposeful, proven “negligence” of the Federal Reserve. It becomes clear that we now have quite a dangerous stew of policies going on in this country today. Policies that should deeply disturb all of us.

We can’t fight it, we don't know exactly what it is. Even if we did, they won’t listen because it contains their belief in superiority, their political expediency to remain in control, and entitled elitism. Nor do we have the funds left to flee or to protect ourselves against it, which is exactly the definition of our "economic freedoms".

They are playing quite dangerously with the rights afforded us by our constitution: our safety, security, privacy, redress, petition, protest, due process, economic freedom, and our personhood rights - those of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. They are manipulating with their pseudo-war time activities. They are playing in such a way as to endanger ALL US Citizens, not just those deemed “bad seed” - and they dare say we the people are the threat to this country?

Are we a threat to their policies through peaceful resistance? I certainly hope we are.
